Students of Astrakhan State University Win Preactum Cup
On December 5-6, 2019, representatives of the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics & Engineering — Dmitry Reztsov, a 2nd-year Master’s degree student, and Pavel Tamkov, a 4-th year BA student, presented the ASU team’s project of SMELCOM ROV underwater robotic system in Moscow.
Preactum is an all-Russian nonprofit programme, aimed at developing entrepreneurship among the youth. The event unites the most active and talented young people from across the country — it is an ideal space for networking. Participants meet new partners and HR, exchange their knowledge and create new successful startups together. Preactum programme includes free webinars, training courses and consultations. And, above all, events are attended by investors that are looking for interesting projects.
The student team of Astrakhan State University, which represented their underwater robot for environmental monitoring of water resources, passed the first on-site stage, involving 230 startups, got feedbacks and made for the final, where they competed for a valuable prize for the startup development — 100 thousand rubles.
