Debut of Astrakhan State University’s Projects at Expocentre

The 6th annual national exhibition «VUZPROMEXPO» in Moscow is under way. The largest federal event brings together more than 100 leading universities and scientific institutions of Russia, engineering, scientific and educational centres and leading industrial companies of our country.

The delegation of Astrakhan State University is headed by Rector Konstantin Markelov, First Vice-Rector — Vice-Rector for Strategic Development Elina Polyanskaya and Vice-Rector for Research Activities Anna Fedotova.

The ASU is exhibiting several projects, including those that are already being implemented in cooperation with university’s partners. These are the honey quality indicator, stir welding, 3-in-1 welding unit, maritime robot, offshore multipurpose unmanned platform, special-construction vessel “Amphibia”, EgoDrone and the model of an energy supply system on the basis of subsurface electromagnetic generators.

Besides, the representatives of Astrakhan State University are telling the participants about the establishment of the Caspian Scientific & Educational Centre, activities of the “mirror” engineering centre, the Polygon of Digital Solutions in Innovative Engineering and the Transport & Logistics Consortium of Caspian Higher Educational Institutions.

The first day of VUZPROMEXPO 2019 exhibition saw signing of an agreement between Astrakhan State University and Samara National Research University named after Academician S.P. Korolev.

Today, ASU Rector Konstantin Markelov also took part in a meeting with heads of educational institutions of higher education, featuring Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation Mikhail Kotyukov.
