ASU Rector Presents His Report at Scientific Conference within VUZPROMEXPO 2019

The 6th annual national multi-field exhibition of Russian science achievements in Moscow is under way. The delegation of Astrakhan State University, headed by Rector Konstantin Markelov, is taking an active part in the programme events.

The second day of the exhibition saw ASU Rector Konstantin Markelov’s participation in the discussion “Technological Modernization of Enterprises of Agricultural Sector, Food and Processing Industries: Issues of Digital Transformation” with a report on the university’s developments in the agro-industrial complex of Astrakhan region.

Besides, the participants keep exhibiting their inventions in robotic technology, defense industry, oil production, car industry and other fields. The ASU stand is displaying several projects, including those that are already being implemented in cooperation with university’s partners.

Invited by Konstantin Markelov, a Russian inventor and TV host Andrey Bakhmetiev also had a look at the stand of Astrakhan State University, commended the university’s projects and gave recommendations on testing, follow-up and vandal-proofness of the projects.

It should be noted that Astrakhan State University has been participating in the 6th annual national exhibition for the first time, being the only representative of Astrakhan region there; the event is taking place on December 11-12 at the central fairgrounds “Expocentre” in Moscow.
