60 Students of ASU Receive Letters of Gratitude for Active Participation in University Life

Last week, the United Council of Students of Astrakhan State University organized a ceremony of awarding activists, heads of student clubs and councils who have been implementing different projects and developing student self-governance at the university throughout the whole year of 2019.

The United Union of Students is a platform for fulfilment of students’ initiatives in cultural, artistic, sporting and social activities. The students have organized all-Russian and multicultural forums, made for other regions of Russia and brought not only new experience and knowledge but also plenty of positive emotions and impressions to the university and shared them with all the students of ASU.

The ASU Rector handed the first letter of gratitude to Pavel Gnidin, the Chairman of the United Council of Students of Astrakhan State University. Then letters of appreciation were handed to those who organized activities in all the areas of the Union work — leaders of councils, sections and clubs. Next came the activists of Astrakhan State University.

After the awarding ceremony, Konstantin Markelov visited the Interaction Centre which had prepared a lot of interesting things for the event participants. The students demonstrated interactive platforms on education quality, ASU Trade Union, the student council of dormitories, volunteering centres “On Wings of Goodness», “New Step” and “Student Squad Centre”, the student club “Creation”, the revived student club of amateur song, the student psychological service, the student club “Russian Union of Youth”, the sporting section and the student club “All-Russia People’s Front Youth of ASU”.
