New Year’s Eve Sees ASU Staff’s Receiving Well-Deserved Awards

At the final meeting of the Academic Council, the Rector of Astrakhan State University congratulated his colleagues who were particularly successful in professional and social activities.

Konstantin Markelov handed the certificates of appreciation from the RF Ministry of Science and Higher Education for considerable services in education and long-year dedicated work to teachers Mikhail Iolin, Lyubov Usacheva and Olga Khalifaeva.

Seven teachers of ASU received the Diplomas of Associate Professor in different majors.

ASU Rector Konstantin Markelov was awarded with the letter of gratitude from the Astrakhan Regional Duma for dedicated work and active social activities, while Astrakhan State University received the letter of gratitude from the Regional Youth Agency for contribution to the development of volunteering in Astrakhan region and the letter of appreciation from the rector a.i. of the Southern Federal University for the ASU representatives’ participation in the youth scientific and educational forum “Caucasus in Orbit of International Relations” within the framework of the all-Russian project “Peace Be with Caucasus”.

Finally, the Rector handed the diploma and winner’s Cup in the nomination “Agriculture, Veterinary and Agronomy” to the participants of the second case-study championship of Astrakhan region and certificates for undertaking a traineeship in the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and the regional Veterinary Department.
