Comprehensive Interregional Interaction Will Form Basis of Caspian Centre’s Work
This idea has become a cross-cutting motive of the speeches of today’s opening ceremony of the strategic session “Caspian Scientific & Educational Centre — Growth Point of Economic Potential of Southern Russia”.
Representatives of public authorities, businesses, financial institutes, social, scientific and educational organizations of Astrakhan region, the Republic of Dagestan and Republic of Kalmykiya have gathered at Astrakhan State University to discuss mechanisms of interaction of the centre participants.
ASU Vice-Rector for Research Activities Anna Fedotova reminded her colleagues on the results of the previous strategic session which took place in July 2019. Then the participants had a workshop on formulating goals and objectives of the centre, identification of promising tasks for the business, formation of project teams, development of roadmaps and specification of an organizational structure of the centre.
Rector a.i. of Dagestan State Technical University Nurmagomed Surakatov, speaking on behalf of partner organizations from RF subjects, supported the idea of establishment of the Caspian Scientific & Educational Centre. He confirmed the immediacy of the problem of brain drain among highly skilled HR from peripheral regions and called his colleagues for cooperating in their scientific developments in order to introduce research results into production more actively.
The strategic session is going on within six sub-tracks of the ecosystem track “Searching for Solutions and Incentives for Growth and Win-Win Cooperation”.
