“For You, Darlings”: Bard Concert at ASU Timed to 8th of March

Participants of the student bard club, teachers and alumni of Astrakhan State University prepared a memorable artistic programme for lovely women.

A festive occasion and springtime determined a shift of the emphases — that event was filled with songs mostly about love. The performers expressed manysidedness of this feeling both in romantic and in laughing songs. Guests of the concert were especially touched of the youngest performers who were for the first time at the ASU stage.

The best half of ASU received the warmest words of admiration on the threshold of International Women’s Day from Rector Konstantin Markelov:

“No words can express that tenderness and endearment that the men feel for you. I wish you goodness, happiness, love of family and friends, may your faces lighten up with smiles more often, may your life bring you less problems!”

Konstantin Markelov made a musical gift, performing a lyrical song Alenushka by Aleksandr Dolsky.
