ASU Team Presents University Capacities to Schoolchildren of Enotaevsky District

The 3rd youth forum of the Enotaevsky district “If Not Us, Who?” took place on March 14 under the aegis of the 75th anniversary of the Great Victory and the Year of Education in Astrakhan region. The district Cultural Centre brought together young residents of the Enotaevka, Prishib, Nikolskoe villages and other settlements of the municipal entity. The main partner of the event was Astrakhan State University.

University representatives, headed by Rector Konstantin Markelov, demonstrated technical innovations and educational capacities of ASU, gave master classes and workshops and shared their experience. The young people learnt about the majors offered by Astrakhan State University, admission requirements and extracurricular student initiatives they can join in.

Welcoming the event participants, Konstantin Markelov stressed that many residents of the Enotaevsky district study and work at ASU and noted that it was a great honour and responsibly for the university to be a partner of the forum.

Konstantin Markelov also said that ASU implemented lots of projects for schoolchildren. Besides, the university is ready to put forward a proposal to create specialized classes in educational institutions of the Enotaevsky district.

Opening the forum, Head of the municipal entity Sergey Levshin thanked the university for active support and wished the young participants successful work.

The official opening ceremony was followed by activities within topic-specific sections, featuring ASU students in the role of speakers.
