ASU Rector Konstantin Markelov Held Online Meeting with Student Activists
About 80 students, as well as the university top-management and teachers, joined the videoconference meeting on May 21. The students, including foreign citizens, told the rector about their life and studies during the lockdown period.
The rector stressed that the main task during the lockdown period was to create as comfortable conditions for getting comprehensive education as possible.
The students told Konstantin Markelov about their success in mastering online platforms for organizing distance learning and extracurricular activities and in handling with the studies under self-isolation conditions.
They also thanked the university administration for the humanitarian aid provided to all foreign students. It should be recalled that ASU bought grocery baskets for students who have to stay far from their home, while Astrakhan entrepreneurs, by arrangement with the rector, delivered two tons of fish and half a ton of rice to all dormitories of the university.
At the online meeting, Konstantin Markelov also answered students’ questions — follow the news to learn more about the details.
