ASU Scientists Present Their Research at International Online Forum

The online event IFTE-2020 “Prospects and Priorities of Teacher Education in Times of Change, Choice and Challenge” opened on May 27 and will last until June 9.

Professors of the Department of Information Security of Astrakhan State University Iskandar Azhmukhamedov and Valentina Kuznetsova presented their report «Analysis of Advantages and Possible Consequences of Implementation of Single Digital Educational Environment».

In their study, the authors outline tendencies in education digitalization and consider the main risks of this process in the sphere of health, communication skills and information security of learning process participants.

The issue has been studied by a team of scientists of the Faculty of Digital Technologies & Cybersecurity together with their colleagues from the Faculty of Social Communications within the framework of the RFBR grant “Assessment of Effect of Educational & Social Space Digitalization on Human and Development of Safe Communication & Education Environment System”.

In her report, Valentina Kuznetsova drew a parallel between the opinions of teachers on the relevance of risks, related to application of IT technologies, before and after the restrictions, connected with COVID-19.
