ASU and Agency for Strategic Initiatives Keep Strengthening Cooperation
Priorities and areas of joint work of the federal agency and the region have been discussed at a business meeting of Agency Director-General Svetlana Chupsheva and Astrakhan Governor Igor Babushkin. The videoconference meeting involved, among other participants, Rector of Astrakhan State University Konstantin Markelov.
Representatives of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) presented their social projects, best practices in the sphere of support for entrepreneurship, tourism, urbanization and, of course, education to the Astrakhan government.
Director of the Partnership & Networking Centre Andrey Pysin notes that Astrakhan State University is one of ASI partners, has been involved into implementation of joint initiatives and participates in ASI projects on development of networking, in particular on promoting technologies in the sphere of artificial intelligence.
It should be recalled that Astrakhan State University, Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects, NTI Platform and NTI University 20.35 signed a quadripartite agreement in July 2019 on the Island 10-22 workshop; the agreement implies cooperation in development of advanced technology projects, promotion of new approaches in education. Besides, ASU was one of the first HEIs in Russia to create and run the Boiling Point Centre with support of ASI.
At the end of the meeting, the regional government confirmed their interest in all ASI initiatives and expressed their readiness to take part in them.
