ASU Journalism Students Took Part in InfoForum 2020
On the eve of their work placement, 49 intramural and extramural students of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd study years of the Faculty of Philology & Journalism of Astrakhan State University has taken part in an event, organized by the Union of Journalists of Russia.
Starting media specialists could improve their professional competences and get ready for practical activities. By the way, the participants from Astrakhan State University were the only students among the practising professionals. They took part in the event at the invitation of the Astrakhan Regional Office of the Union of Journalists of Russia.
It is the first time the annual InfoForum for journalists, editors, media managers and bloggers, organized by the Union of Journalists of Russia, has been held online. It allowed to broaden the geography of participants significantly — along with Astrakhan, the forum involved participants from Vladimir, Volgograd, Yoshkar-Ola and Samara. Speakers discussed urgent challenges for the modern media experts.
The InfoForum allowed the students to meet professionals, learn about their experience in a certain sphere of activity and discover the media that are close to their social attitudes. Interactive capacities of the event created a work-friendly atmosphere, and the information-rich material, prepared by the speakers, was perfectly visualized.
