New electronic proceedings “Caspian Sea Region in the 21st Century: Ways of Sustainable Development” includes materials of the conference that took place in February 2020 at ASU.

Participants of the scientific event touched upon the general issues and current challenges for the Caspian states. Particular attention was paid to current issues of the development of biological and agro-industrial technologies, digitalization of the agro-industrial sector of the Caspian states, ecological and geobiological problems of conservation, recovery and sustainable use of the Caspian natural resources, as well as development of the transport and logistics potential of the Caspian states.

Besides, they broadly discussed the issues of security, cooperation and integration of the Caspian states’ scientific community.

The publication is meant for staff members, professors, Ph.D. candidates and general readers who are interested in the issues of the ecology, economy and geopolitics of the Caspian macroregion.
