Prospective Students Have a Good Chance for State-Funded Places at ASU in 2020

Representatives of the Admissions Office of Astrakhan State University have organized a live broadcast and answered the most urgent questions of prospective students and their parents on how to become a student this year.

First of all, Executive Secretary of the ASU Admissions Office Lyudmila Tovarnichenko reminded the applicants of the fact that recently Astrakhan State University had got 47 additional state-funded places.

Members of the Admissions Offices answered the questions they had received from the applicants in advance and the ones that were asked by prospective students and their parents online. In particular, the applicants got to know

  • when they’ll know the lowest passing score;
  • where to take an admission consent application form;
  • how to get an employer-sponsored place;
  • if it is possible to edit the submitted application and how to do it;
  • the date of competition lists publication;
  • if there’re state-funded places for the extramural form of studies;
  • if it is possible to study at two faculties at the same time;
  • what to do if the applicant’s score for the final state examination is lower than the minimum passing score;
  • where to find programmes of entrance exams held by the university;
  • how the enrollment of foreign citizens will be organized (on-site or distantly);
  • the date of enrollment to the university.

If you missed the live broadcast, watch the recording.

Note that applications for Bachelor’s degree programmes may be submitted until August 18, 2020.
