Moscow Experts Commend ASU Scientist’s Innovative Project
Head of the Engineering Project Office of Astrakhan State University Aleksey Titov presented his project, an offshore multipurpose unmanned platform, to representatives of the NTI Platform, Skolkovo Foundation and other experts.
The ASU scientist presented his project during a discussion within track “New Ideas for Business” of forum “Strong Ideas for New Times”, held by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and Roscongress. Aleksey Titov made an online presentation of the advantages and novelty of the idea of the unmanned maritime system.
The robot is designed for industrial and environmental monitoring, bioresource search, geophysical exploration in transit areas, automated depth sounding, assessment of bottom deepening, etc.
The ASU representative stressed that the project is being implemented within the framework of the mirror engineering centre of the Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and Astrakhan State University. On August 12, 2020, the project of Unmanned-Ship hardware and software package for the offshore multipurpose unmanned platform (unmanned maritime system) won the support of the Bortnik Foundation.
The potential of the project on designing the unmanned maritime system was noted by Director for Development of technological Communities and Partnership of the NTI Platform Anastasia Morozova and Senior Vice President for Innovations of the Skolkovo Foundation Kirill Kaem.
