Students of Astrakhan State University Attend “Territory of Meanings”

First-year Master’s degree student of the Faculty of Digital Technologies & Cybersecurity Mikhail Gladyshev and fourth-year student of the Law Faculty Sergey Zabelin have taken part in the all-Russia youth educational forum. The students represented our university within shift “Digital Economy”.

This year, the forum has gathered less participants because of the epidemiological situation. 270 activists were invited to participate in the shift on-site.

Having been divided in 30 teams, the participants improved their skills and competences and met interesting people every day. Their teamwork resulted in presentation of the developed project initiatives. Upon results of the events, Sergey Zabelin’s team entered top-3 of the best teams of the shift.

Along with attending the forum lectures, Mikhail Gladyshev presented the ASU scientific project of SMELCOM ROV, an underwater remotely operated robotic system, meant for environmental monitoring of the water resources and examination of underwater facilities.

The jury appreciated the prospects and relevance of the ASU scientists’ project and gave advice on its promotion and commercialization.
